The fate of a “once in a generation opportunity” to turn a racecourse into 25,000 new homes in Western Sydney has been decided.

The ‘no vote’ has won 56% to 44%.

Gai Waterhouse has called for the resignation of ATC Chairman Peter McGauran, accusing him of mishandling the controversial $5 billion proposed sale of Rosehill Racecourse.
