Chris Minns elected NSW Labor leader despite colleagues’ ‘slings and arrows’

Chris Minns has been named NSW Labor leader after Michael Daley pulled out of the race.
Mr Minns was elected unanimously at the Friday morning caucus meeting.
He told Jim Wilson he’s willing to “take the slings and arrows as they come”, and his major priorities will be addressing the cost of living, securing regional jobs, and improving schools and hospitals.
“Big job ahead, but I’m ready for the challenge, and I know that the people of New South Wales will be listening and judging us over the coming days and weeks.
“Just because you’re in Opposition, you don’t have to oppose everything.”
He also confirmed he’ll continue to appear on Jim Wilson’s Thursday afternoon ‘The Influencers’ segment, “if you want to have me!”
