BREAKING: 54-year-old bus driver granted bail after fatal crash
The bus driver charged over the crash which killed a 14-year-old boy in Sydney’s southwest has been granted bail in court.
A bus driver has been charged with a string of offences following the death of a student in Sydney’s south west.
Just before 3PM yesterday a Year 9 student from Macarthur Anglican School was struck by a bus after it veered off the road.
It’s understood the 14-year-old boy was walking on a path outside the school in Cobbitty when the bus lost control.
The 14-year-old was rushed to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition, but tragically, died a short time later.
Police have charged her with dangerous driving occasioning death, driving in a dangerous manner and negligent driving occasioning death.
