Ben Fordham has declared the shelving of controversial religious freedom laws and a federal ICAC is a “blessing in disguise”.

The government lost a major vote on its religious discrimination bill and has failed to commit to a federal ICAC – both federal election promises.

“Both ideas were a dud,” Ben said.

“I don’t think the average voter is going to be too concerned.”
