Macquarie National News

A woman’s body has been found in a park on Sydney’s lower north shore.

Emergency services were called to Pittwater Road at Hunters Hill at about 7.30am after the body was discovered in Buffalo Creek Reserve.

A council worker reportedly made the gruesome find just near a playground in the park.

The incident is being treated as suspicious with sources telling Ben Fordham the victim was found bound around the neck and hands.

Detective Superintendent David Waddell can’t confirm those details but says police are conducting a post-mortem examination to the exact cause of death.
