With Latrell Mitchell missing for the rest of the season, the South Sydney Rabbitohs have a big decision to make for their Penrith Panthers clash.

Putting himself in coach Wayne Bennett’s shoes, rugby league great Billy Slater mulled over who he’d put in the no. 1 jersey for week one of the finals “against the best kicker in the game”.

“I really like Blake Taaffe, I think he’s got a big future in the game.

“But … any little movement out of position, he’s going to find you out, Nathan Cleary.”
