Former Opposition leader Bill Shorten has weighed in on the prospect of a Labor election victory.

Labor leader Anthony Albanese is confident he can win the election that will take place this year.

But Mr Shorten told Ben Fordham a win isn’t guaranteed.

“I think Labor’s message is right for the times.”
