More farmers across NSW will soon be swinging their gates open to visitors.

Farm stays, roadside stalls and fruit picking are some of the winners from the new policy that makes it easier to set up agritourism opportunities.

Minister for Agriculture Dugald Saunders told Jim Wilson the policy encourages locals to boost their revenue and future-proof their farms.

“If you are looking at doing simple things, you will be able to do that a lot more easily.”
