We wanted to check in with our mate who’s been doing a big challenge

Louis Cherote has been cycling all the way from Sydney to Parkes.

The 400-kilometre journey is in honour of his late son, Ben, who tragically took his own life five years ago.

Louis is raising money for the Black Dog Institute. His goal was originally to raise $20,000.

But now, he’s reached more than $30,000!
