Ben Fordham’s fiery clash with Anthony Albanese over branch stacker
Ben Fordham has grilled Labor Leader Anthony Albanese over his reluctance to sack an MP who confessed to branch stacking.
Federal Labor MP Anthony Byrne has admitted to breaking party rules and misusing taxpayer resources in the first day of hearings into branch stacking in the Victorian Labor Party.
Ben confronted Mr Albanese over his previous calls for the Prime Minister to sack Minister Michael Sukkar, who was accused of branch stacking.
Anthony Albanese: “Anthony Byrne isn’t a minister!”
Ben Fordham: “Who cares what he is! What does that matter?”
Anthony Albanese: “Are you serious?!”
