Ben Fordham has hit back at a proposal from health authorities to extend the state’s indoor mask mandate beyond December 15, as reported by The Daily Telegraph.

Masks are currently required in shops, public transport and common buildings in apartment buildings, but authorities are concerned maskless Christmas shopping will see a spike in cases.

Ben argued the proposed extension is “over-cautious, and that’s understating it”.

“We stopped worrying about case numbers a while ago, remember? That’s why we got vaccinated!

“How long is this going to go on?

“We are urging the Premier here to please show some common sense … [and] prove once and for all unelected bureaucrats are not running the show.”
