Ben Fordham has slammed the NRL’s “crazy” call to delay Taylan May’s ban and allow him to play in this year’s final.

The Penrith player was granted a two-game suspension after being found guilty of assault.

But the suspension won’t kick in until 2023.

“The NRL has had a shocker,” Ben said.

“I think this is a misjudgement, big time.”
