NSW Deputy Premier Paul Toole has revealed that Greater Sydney won’t be able to travel to the regions until November 1.

With the 80 per cent vaccination target expected to be reached this week, government ministers met yesterday to decide whether regional travel would be allowed from Monday.

Regional travel was promised to Sydneysiders once the 80 per cent vaccination was hit.

“Do you agree that this represents a broken promise,” Ben asked.

“There’s a hard fast date … it’s not going to change,” Mr Toole assured.

He’s apologised to Sydneysiders who had made travel plans based on the promised roadmap.
