Ben Fordham has called out the cancelling of former Essendon CEO after he quit a day into the job.

It follows widespread backlash about Andrew Thorburn being chair of City on a Hill, a church organisation which likens abortion to concentration camps and says homosexual behaviour is wrong.

Daniel Andrews was among those to criticise the appointment.

“The sermons were delivered almost 10 years ago before he was part of the church!” Ben argued.

“He’s been cancelled because of his Christianity.”
