Ben Fordham has labelled the NSW Premier’s support for a mandatory cashless gaming card in clubs and pubs as “overreach”.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports Dominic Perrottet has not yet outlined a timeline for the measure.

Ben argues this intervention won’t stop problem gamblers, but hinder the freedoms of others.

“If the Premier gets his way, we’ll all be treated like problem gamblers,” Ben said.

“It’s just another case of big brother spying on us.
