‘Be sensible’ – NSW Health Minister’s message ahead of extreme heat
New South Wales Health Minister Ryan Park has warned people to take Sydney’s heat wave seriously after eight Sydneysiders were hospitalised with heat exhaustion.
Speaking to Trent Nikolic on 2GB Summer Drive, Mr Park also warned parents to avoid leaving their children in cars.
“It can be catastrophic, and I know sometimes people think ‘Oh look, Government’s overegging this, I’m not … I’m just saying this as a parent … there is no room for error in relation to that,” he said.
