PREVIEW

After an extended break, the Melbourne Renegades are back in action, taking on an in-form Adelaide Strikers at Etihad Stadium.

We’ve reached the business end of BBL|07, where a win for either side was consolidate their place in the top four. If the Renegades win, it’s hard to see them missing out of finals action while if the Strikers are successful, they could climb back up to the top of the table.

After the departure of surprise sensation Mohammad Nabi, West Indian Kieron Pollard links up with the Renegades and is set to play his first match of the season.

Pollard – who ironically played for the Strikers between 2014-2017 – looms as the dark horse for a Renegades side who is still smarting from losing to crosstown rivals Melbourne Stars 10 days ago. As for the Strikers, they’ll be keen to keep positive momentum going, having beaten the resurgent Hobart Hurricanes on January 2017.

We’re set for an action-packed Monday night in Melbourne as two sides look to further stake their claim for finals action.

Join us from 7.00pm AEDT (6:30pm ACST) on 3AW in Melbourne, 5AA in Adelaide, NTS Digital nationally or through Cricket Australia’s website and app as Tone, Deano and Mick bring you the best call of Renegades vs Strikers!
