Australians are being encouraged not to ignore any cancer symptoms during a lockdown.

Breast cancer screening appointments have been postponed due to Sydney’s COVID crisis.

Cancer Australia CEO Professor Dorothy Keefe told Ben Fordham people should not delay.

“It’s OK to pause screening for a little while but it’s not OK to ignore symptoms of cancer.”
