Tennis great Todd Woodbridge is anticipating an excitingly wide range of contenders in the female field in 2022.

He told Bill Woods Australian champion Ash Barty is still the one to watch next year, and with skills that set her apart from her peers, he expects her to claim more majors.

“The talent and the depth is as broad as it’s been in the women’s game for many years.

“When we look at what might happen at the upcoming Australian Open, how does Ash Barty fare with all of that?

“That will be the big question.”
