Professor Geoffery Delany is most known for using his skills to save others lives, and today his wonderful actions have been recognised.

Geoffery is now a Member of the Order of Australia and he told Jim Wilson, ” It’s very nice recognition that the work I do does make a difference”.

Knowing he wanted to choose something challenging from a work perspective Professor Delany stated “It’s very rewarding”.

Geoffery’s mother Beryl also called Jim to surprise her son and give praise in a heartwarming moment.
