The Australian and Papua New Guinean police forces are collaborating to tackle transnational crime. 

Australian Federal Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw, and Royal PNG Constabulary Commissioner David Manning, discussed the ongoing efforts to ensure community safety and combat drug trafficking.

Royal PNG Constabulary Commissioner stated that “there is very much light at the end of the tunnel for us in terms of being more effective, be more proactive within our communities”.
