This Thursday, June 21st, marks global Make Music Day.

The worldwide celebration of music first launched in 1982 in France and is now held on the same day in more than 800 cities in 120 countries.

In 2018, the Australian Music Association is launching Australia’s first nationwide Make Music Day celebration with events across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and beyond.

Alan speaks with Director of the NSW Live Music Office John Wardle who says this sort of celebration is needed now more than ever.
