Australia Digital Passenger Declaration rules made clear

Rules for what to do when flying back into Australia have been made clear.

You can download an app called ‘Australia Digital Passenger Declaration’ (DPD).

Travellers do not have to pay for the DPD as It’s free.

To submit declarations you can visit HERE.

You’ll have to create an account by following a few simple steps.

When you’re logged in, you’ll then be able to submit your DPD.

Once you submit the DPD, you’ll need to keep a copy with you.

Before boarding, you may be asked to show your declaration and it can either be printed or held electronically.

Ben says “having a hard copy is the best option”.

You can start a DPD 7 days before your flight.
