Australian singer Shane Nicholson will be hitting the road at the Deni Ute Muster to promote his new single ‘High Horse’.

The Aussie singer cleaned up at the 2022 Golden Guitars winning four awards and was also nominated for the 2021 ARIA ‘Best Country Album’.

With over 10 million streams to date on previously released material, the writing process for Shane’s latest album offering played out a little differently.

Instead of taking himself off to a remote location which is his usual writing process, most were written in borrowed houses on the Central Coast.

Mr Nicholson told Deborah Knight the latest single came from him being interested in what it meant to have a platform that has an identity.

“I was resonating on that and somehow I wrote a song.”
