Aussie musician gets hands ‘dirty’ amid warnings of life-threatening floods

Multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Pete Murray is currently helping out on the flooding front line whilst also touring.

He is currently in Byron Bay and has been getting his hands “dirty” in order to help family and strangers amid rising flood warnings.

Mr Murray told Deborah Knight the destruction caused by the floods is “a horrific thing to see”.

Local communities are banding together to help one another and Pete said his local community are putting up a fight.

“It’s really a great community spirit.”
