Australia’s Jakara Anthony has won Winter Olympics gold after breaking a 12-year drought to become the nation’s sixth champion.

Earning a score of 83.09 Ms Anthony pulled off a stunning win in the women’s freestyle.

The gold medalist told Jim Wilson, “It’s incredible”.

Still fresh of the win the Aussie said, “It is all pretty surreal, feels like I’m living a dream right now.”

“It is so incredible to be compared to the other gold medalists.”
