Aussie Curlers looking to make history

Article image for Aussie Curlers looking to make history

History will be made as Australian Curlers will be competing for the first time ever in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) selected its first athletes for the games, the mixed doubles curlers Dean Hewitt and Tahli Gill.

The sport may be not familiar to some, but the two Aussie athletes are bringing some much-needed attention with their recent performances on the ice.

The pair are looking forward to the event with Tahli telling Luke Grant “We’ve been working really hard”.
