Michael McLaren has praised Angus Taylor’s budget reply, saying it went beyond a reply and became a statement of intent and was “soaked in old-school Liberal ideaology”.

However, the Afternoons host says it might be enough to renew the Party’s relevancy, but one of his policies could cop him some heat.

“Australia now has a clear ideological choice, but only a clear marketing strategy will ensure one prevails over the other,” he said.
