Anthony Albanese accused of hypocrisy over branch stacker Anthony Byrne

Ben Fordham says Anthony Albanese must act against one of Labor’s longest-serving federal MPs, Anthony Byrne.
The federal Labor MP has admitted to breaking party rules and misusing taxpayer resources in the first day of hearings into branch stacking in the Victorian Labor Party.
“Albo, show some backbone and sack this bloke today!” Ben said.
Last year Michael Sukkar was accused of branch stacking in the Liberal Party, but was later cleared.
Mr Albanese said at the time Scott Morrison must sack Mr Sukkar.
“Let’s be fair dinkum here Anthony Albanese and Anthony Byrne are mates, that’s why he’s acting like his bodyguard,” Ben said.
“This is a test Anthony Albanese, everybody’s watching. What are you going to do?”
