Shadow treasurer Angus Taylor has taken a swipe at the Prime Minister for failing to visit the flood-stricken city of Lismore.

Residents are still suffering from the devastating effects of the floods that inundated the area in the first half of the year.

Mr Taylor recently visited Lismore and told Deborah Knight “it’s just incumbent on leaders now to be all over this”.

“It’s disappointing that Albo or Jim Chalmers haven’t been there yet since the election.”
