The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has filed a lawsuit against Amazon over allegations of signing people up for Prime without clear communication.

For years, Amazon has reportedly enrolled customers in its Prime membership without fully revealing the ongoing or recurring cost, making it challenging for customers to unsubscribe, according to the FTC.

This has come to light as more and more people realise they’ve been paying for unused subscriptions.
