Prime Minister Scott Morrison believes this year’s election is eerily similar to 2019.

The Coalition has been trailing in recent polls, which indicates that Labor is on track to end its opponent’s nine-year reign in government.

Jim Wilson: “Do you concede you’ll still need a swing towards you this week and on polling day?”

Scott Morrison: “It’s the same thing that happened this time 3 years ago Jim, as you’ll recall, its almost identical.”

Recent polling published by The Sydney Morning Herald showed the Government trailing Labor 49-51 on 2PP.
