Australian Wallabies legend David Campese says politics has no place in sport amid the Black Lives Matter movement.

The South African cricket team’s decision to mandate taking a knee against racism has come under scrutiny after Quentin de Kock withdrew.

Campese told Ben Fordham “it’s getting out of control”.

“To me all lives matter.

“You shouldn’t have to bring politics into sport.

“Sport is supposed to be an equaliser … it doesn’t matter what colour you are, what country you’re from, you just go out there and play.”
