In a world-first, Air New Zealand will offer beds to its economy class travellers. 

Aviation writer at the Australian Robyn Ironside joined Luke Grant with the details.

“It’s a real innovation … inspired by the cabin crew rest area,” she said.

“It’s like a triple bunk bed … people are basically stacked one on top of the other.

“They’ll be available for rent in four hour shifts.”
