Balmain great Garry Jack says it’s “about time” a major overhaul occurred at the top of the Wests Tigers, following the immediate dismissal of the club board and the resignation of chief executive Justin Pascoe.

News broke on Tuesday afternoon of the immediate changes in response to an independent review, with Barry O’Farrell taking over as interim chairman while Shane Richardson assumes interim CEO duties.

“They guys that have been there – Justin Pascoe, Lee Hagipantelis and the board – they’ve overseen two wooden spoons, who keeps their job if you get two wooden spoons?” Jack told 2GB.
