The idea of the spoken word conveying something quite extraordinary has only evolved over the past few years.

True crime podcasts like Serial, The Teacher’s Pet and many more have captured listeners as they relay the details and mysteries of remarkable investigations.

Most pursuing their own investigation along the way.

My Father The Murderer follows a woman’s journey to discovering the gruesome truth about her father.

Nina Young, the woman on this incredible discovery tells John Stanely her mother met her father as a volunteer tutor at a jail.

“I don’t think she really understood the full extent of what she was getting into.”

She says it was at the age of 25 she found out who her father really was by digging through online court records.

Nina says was “completely sick a numb”.
