WHAT'S YOUR FINAL MEAL?

NASA is warning a monster asteroid, twice the height of the Empire State Building, will skim past earth next month.

The space rock is hurtling through space at 23,000km/h and will come within 5.3 million kilometres of earth on September 14.

Apparently, in space terms, that’s a close call.

In fact, anything that comes within 149 million kilometres of earth is classified as a near-Earth object by NASA.

While nobody is going to start digging fallout shelters, Ben Fordham and the Today Show team asked what their final meal would be if it was all coming to an end.

Ben didn’t hesitate for a second with his answer, choosing an Aussie pub classic for his last meal.

“Chicken schnitzel probably. A parmi. Probably two of them,” says Ben.

Bizarrely, Deb Knight said her last meal on earth would be a banana sandwich.

What would your last meal on earth be?
