‘A deception on the people of NSW’: Mark Latham accuses Labor of lying
Mark Latham has accused Opposition Leader Michael Daley of lying about deals Labor has made with minor parties.
Yesterday Mr Daley told the media his party doesn’t have any arrangements with minor parties.
But Mark Latham says they’re “in bed” with the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party, having done a deal to give them preferences in country seats.
It’s thought to be a strategy to ensure the Shooters will support Labor in the event of a minority government.
“This is another area where Michael Daley’s not telling the truth,” Mr Latham tells Alan Jones.
“It’s a deception on the people of NSW, the likes of which we’ve rarely seen in Australian politics.”
