‘A bridge too far’: Peta Credlin empathises with tradie protesters’ cause

Sky News commentator Peta Credlin has expressed empathy for the cause of construction workers protesting mandatory vaccination.

Peta told Jim Wilson the grounding of media helicopters covering the protests contributes to “a real feeling amongst Victorians” sympathising with tradies’ frustrations.

“Tomorrow we are the world’s most locked down city. That’s a terrible title for the once-‘world’s most livable city’ to wear.

“It’s a heavy-handed approach – I think they should get the jab … but I’m not for mandatory vaccination.

“As someone who believes in individual freedom … I just think that’s a bridge too far in Australia.”
