As majority of New South Wales and Queensland battles drought, the nation’s hay markets have seen feed moving from one end of the country to the other.

To help ease the burden for New South Wales farmers, the state’s government has announced the return of transport subsidies to cover 50 percent of transport costs.

To get an idea of how hay supplies are looking, rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Feed Central Managing Director Tim Ford.
