AMP directors resign after shareholder outburst
Three non-executive directors have agreed to step down from AMP as the fallout continues from revelations made at the banking Royal Commission.
Vanessa Wallace and Holly Kramer have quit immediately ahead of Thursday’s Annual General Meeting.
The longest-serving non-executive director will leave at the end of the year.
Daniel Smith from CGI Glass Lewis, an independent firm who gives advice to shareholders, tells Ross Greenwood the loss of three board members won’t affect the company’s recommendations.
