There was no shortage of news in the US this week. While snowstorms pounded much of the eastern seaboard, Trump prepared to announce tariffs on Chinese imports in a suspected clampdown on Beijing’s theft of US technology.

Discussion around Australia possibly gaining dispensation from Trump’s steel and aluminium tariffs also took place, while a $1.3 trillion budget bill is set to be voted on in Congress today.
