The future of the Murray Darling Basin plan remains in doubt, with the Senate due to vote on Sarah Hanson Young’s disallowance motion.
The Greens Senator wants to stop the Government from reducing environmental water recovery from the Northern Basin by 70 Giga Litres.
The MDBA has recently published a five year evaluation of the impact of the plan, showing water recovery so far is contributing to the wellbeing of basin residents and visitors.
