Anthony Callea has looked back on his time on Australian Idol and has revealed to Clinton Maynard how he feels music unites people ahead of his brand-new tour next month.

He says he’s glad he trusted his gut instinct all those years ago when he was competing on the hit show, and it’s beautiful to see the connection his music creates with his fans.

“Our entertainment these days is on our phone. So the thing that I really believe strongly about is that music really unites people, and it brings people together, and it always has,” he said.
