We’re throwing our support behind Rob, 45, a husband and father of two who is facing the fight of his life following a brain cancer diagnosis.
In July, Rob started his day with just a headache before collapsing at work.
An MRI confirmed the devastating news: a brain mass needing urgent investigation.
After two brain surgeries in a single week to remove the tumour, the results revealed the worst-case scenario: a Grade 4 Astrocytoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
Rob has Lynch Syndrome, a genetic condition that carries a significantly higher risk of developing cancer.
But Rob is a fighter. He already beat bowel cancer seven years ago when his youngest child was just weeks old, and he is determined to stay positive and beat this once again.
Rob faces a long road ahead. While he recovers from surgery, his medical team is mapping out his treatment plan, which is set to begin in about four weeks.
