NRL legend and Sports Today co-host Mark Geyer has fired up over the NRL’s scheduling on game days.

He’s told Adam Hawse that fans heading to games should be able to see matches before the first-grade matches.

“You can put either a New South Wales Cup, Jersey Flegg, or an NRLW game on before first grade. I don’t know why we don’t,” he said.

Hawsey has also called out the scheduling of NRLW games at the same time as their NRL counterparts.

“We need to sort this out because if we’re going to run both seasons concurrently, we cannot have the men’s and women’s teams from the same club being played at the same time,” he said.
