A former Labor Minister and veteran Mike Kelly says he was appalled by a motion that saw the government’s stance on Hamas removed.

He’s told Mark Levy the individuals who introduced the anti-Israel take are out of touch with the Australian stance and out of touch with what the Palestinian people want.

“Hamas has been slaughtering and torturing their own people, and we’ve all seen the video of them dragging people out into the streets and shooting them,” he said.
