2GB Sydney Now can confirm Cricket Australia has walked back its decision not to play the Australian anthem at the Big Bash League final on Australia Day.

David Elliott has told Clinton Maynard outgoing Cricket Australia chairman Mike Baird confirmed the news to him.

“Wokeism is dead,” he said.
