‘They don’t need this’ – Struggling small businesses dealt another blow
Small businesses already struggling with the cost-of -living crisis have been dealt another blow, with many set to be hit with an increased tax burden from July 2028.
Chief executive officer at OSBOA Skye Cappuccio has told 2GB Sydney Now it’s thought that over 200,000 small businesses will be hit by changes made to the taxable income of trust tax rate.
Canberra cafe owner Joe has told Lucy Zelić that his small business has been significantly impacted by the rise of working from home.
‘We don’t know what’s going to happen from here,” he said.
