Labor has been accused of wealth-baiting as Michael McLaren calls out Jim Chalmers for putting himself above everyone else.

It comes after the Treasurer was heard at a Labor Party gathering denigrating Opposition Leader Angus Taylor and other wealthy Australians for being wealthy.

“So much for unity, so much for bringing Australians together to combat division. These guys are all about division: their DNA pulses with an us-and-them mentality,” he said.
